At Multiplied Blessings, we understand how important this journey is for you and your family. Here are answers to some of the most common questions we receive to help you prepare for your ultrasound experience with us.
3D ultrasound gives you still images of your baby, while 4D/HD ultrasound adds motion for a live video-like experience.
Our studio is relaxing, comfortable, and spacious. We are located in an upscale spa setting instead of a typical medical office. We also feature a large 200-inch screen for everyone to enjoy the view together.
Yes. These ultrasounds use the same sound wave frequencies as standard 2D ultrasounds your doctor uses. Ultrasounds have been safely used for over 35 years and we follow FDA safety guidelines.
No. These are elective, non-medical procedures, so insurance is not accepted.
Many moms come twice, once between 15 and 26 weeks to see the whole baby, and again between 25 and 34 weeks to get detailed facial features. Every baby is different, and we have captured great images up to 39 weeks.
We can usually determine gender with very high accuracy at 16 weeks. If the gender is not visible, we offer a free rescan within 14 days.
Staying well hydrated helps a lot. Clear and full amniotic fluid improves image quality. Other factors, like the baby’s position and your body type, also play a role.
Drink plenty of water in the days before your ultrasound. About 30 minutes before your session, drink fruit juice to help wake your baby up unless your doctor advises otherwise.
Depending on your package, sessions last 10 to 25 minutes. Plan to spend 30 minutes to an hour at our studio to create lasting memories. Arrive a few minutes early to complete paperwork.
No. Since this is an elective service, we do not contact your doctor unless we see something concerning during the scan. You should always be under prenatal care and consult your doctor with any questions.
Yes! We encourage you to bring loved ones. Children are welcome, and we provide toys and books to keep them entertained.
We accept major credit and debit cards and cash.
Usually, within five minutes after your session ends.
We do our best, but sometimes the baby’s position or placenta location makes it difficult. Every baby is different, and we promise to capture the best possible images.
The baby’s position is the biggest factor. We may ask you to move or drink juice to encourage movement.
If we cannot get good images or determine gender, you can reschedule a free follow-up appointment within 14 days.
If your baby is breech, we recommend rescheduling for a later date to allow time to turn. Good images are still possible, especially if there is plenty of amniotic fluid.
Yes. We suggest waiting until after 30 weeks for better image clarity. Drinking plenty of water before your appointment will help improve results.
